  • Microsoft's Soapbox Takes On YouTube

  • YouTube Model Is Compromise Over Copyrights
YouTube is rolling out technology to spot copyrighted material that users upload without the permission of media companies, and then to share advertising revenue with those companies. Warner Music, in its new deal with YouTube, will be the first company to use the new system.
  • Google, Apple to Team Up for Video Downloads?
Apple plans to introduce next year a wireless networking device called iTV that will plug into a television and access movies and video stored on a Mac or PC. New videos can be purchased through a link to the iTunes store. Google's video service might be a part of the offerings.
